Purpose of HRMinds

Our association is committed to meeting the needs of our members involved in the HR profession of legal professional services.

Our objectives are to:

  • foster the continuing education and development of HR professionals;
  • encourage best practice in people management in the profession;
  • participate as a body in matters of interest (eg Award negotiations);
  • promote the understanding and support of the role and value of HR professionals;
  • improve the quality of management of HR professionals in the legal sector;
  • promote and enhance the competence and professionalism of HR professionals in the profession;
  • represent Legal Sector HR professionals within their professional communities, and to the community at large; and such other objectives as the Association may.

Membership criteria

To be eligible for membership applicants must be currently working in a Human Resources role within the Asia Pacific legal industry. This includes roles such as Learning & Development, Talent, OH&S, Remuneration & Benefits, Recruitment and Resourcing, and combined roles where the ‘office manager’ or ‘practice manager’ role includes responsibility for the human resources functions.

HRMinds reserve the right to withdraw the membership if the member no longer meets the above criteria.

Membership duration

Membership is valid for a 12 month period, with renewals due 1 July each year. Membership fees can be calculated pro-rata quarterly.
